Hey ladies its wake up time....It’s not about Men vs. Women!!

Hey ladies do you really enjoy being modern day women! Remember what you do when your husband and kids enjoy cricket. You sit with no interest watching bat ball tak tak or you are in some other world. When did you enjoy last time and if by any means you are working professional what you did last night. You might have done yoga because of media awareness but what about your own passion? I mean something you were really yourself at.
Does your work let you be kind of person who you are. How many books have you read and how many songs you remember. In times of GBs we forget lyrics. I agree we might have all songs but then when it comes to recalling we forget. At least it is cause with me.
Do you remember what did your dad negotiated with in laws? Kind of painting and art work you did. Kind of food you made. Is cooking still fascinates you!! Are you sure you really enjoy doing it any more or it’s just you have stopped thinking about this. And if you were in love then was it your deliveries at work responsible for your marriage. It was the kind of person you are and your fun quotient.
These days there is some kind of image imposed to us. The way we should be. Well I can’t blame media because its self impose thing. I think it works on sub conscious level.
One reason why we have distaste, we are expected to behave in certain format. I mean it’s obvious. Ask any mid 40s women and she will tell you she is content. But are they? I think it hardly bother them anymore.
Dynamics and challenge are two things which lacks completely in household. There is something called self. When I look at my mom’s I where she finds her successful but when it come to making self she has failed measurably. Her domain is so big that there is no place for self. This frame work might make her great but not content as a human being.

its not "international level nari samaj" its about each and every house hold. Fact is you won't get it.

You are correct and in our generation or you can say in your mom's generation, ladies did not had time to think, else you can say they were psychologically prepared and use to give full time to their family and in growing their children and were contented in that .They did not had time to think for themselves. Now the time has changed and women also think for them selves and their career . though it is very difficult to manage their career house husband and kids. Some are lucky enough and gets support from their husband otherwise it is not possible to think for them selves and their liking and disliking.

Anu ,
Thanks for raising this type of issues .

Hi dear Kusum,
thanks a million for your comment. Even I agree to you. Time have changed and now we are in time where we have time for self. But I think we are in transition and will take time to happen on mass level.
